Cabana Harțagu

Went there this summer with the family and we had a great time even if it was raining and we couldn't take advantage of the surroundings the host made sure that we are comfortable and took good care of us. The food was BOMB and the whole setup is really calming and peaceful. Would definitely return for a longer stay next time. P.S. The air is so clean up there that you get goose bumps when you take deep breaths.

We used the vila as part of our wedding celebration at Hadar Chalet and were quite dissapointed with the service at the location. Although we used the location for wedding guests they were not allowed/ could not use any hair straighteners, Flat irons or simiar electronics which is obviously a big problem when going at a wedding. Similar they clearly specified that they had someone on site that spoke English for any foreign guests - this was not the case as the lady that was present there only spoke French which was not helpful at all. Otherwise the stay was decent but the above made the whole experience very dissapointing.

The place is located in a very isolated area with no mobile signal. The only access road is very bumpy. If having no mobile signal is not bad enough, the WiFi there doesn't work at all when there are more than 2 people trying to use it. The food was nothing to write home about - mamaliga (polenta) with some meat dish and soup every day. The first floor has the walls decorated with stuffed animals. The rooms are pretty small and the showers are really small. Hot water some times doesn't work and the electrical grid can't handle a hair dryer. The staff is very friendly. There's an outdoor football court with tennis nets and basketball hoops. I found some very cute and friendly dogs and cats surrounding the place.
